This game was watched by an absolutely huge gate and they saw a match in which Donny dominated again and we were with a strike from Kirkwood on his full debut. He closed down the Kettering keeper and then won the ball. He rose to his feet, (KIrkwood) and poped the ball into the empty net. On the stroke of half time the Rovers were subjected to a very disapponting piece of refereing when Kettering's forward seemed to run into the path of Hume. The forward went down, and Hume was dismissed, and Kettering put away the resulting pen. The Rovers played well with 10 men and had chances to win, but we had to settle for a point.
